Updating Licenses for Installed Applications

TO MODIFY A CURRENTLY INSTALLED VERSION OF SLIM-SUITE 10.4 (CHANGE LICENSE INFORMATION, 
UPDATE INSTALLED TOOLS, OR CHANGE NUMBER OF LICENSED USERS):

 

If SLIM-Suite 10.4 is already installed and you are NOT upgrading to a newer version, the instructions below to change the applications, number of users, or your license expiration date.  You do not need to download and run the SLIM-Suite setup file.

Note: If SLIM-Suite is installed on a network, update the server copy of SLIM-Suite. License information for all workstation users will then be updated automatically.

  1. Before you begin, make sure the license codes match the version of SLIM-Suite you will be modifying (example: you have 10.4 license codes and the currently installed version is 10.4). See SLIM-Suite License Email for more information.
  2. On the machine you wish to update, go to the Windows Control Panel and access Programs and Features. Locate and right-click the appropriate program (QSM Tools 10.1, 10.2 or 10.3) in the list of programs and features. Select "Change" from the popup menu.
  3. When the InstallShield Wizard appears, leave the "Modify" option checked and click "Next".

Enter the Company Name, Company Location, Registration Code and Activation Code from the top of these instructions if prompted. You may copy and paste license information into the Setup dialogs, taking care not to capture/paste in leading or trailing spaces.

Once setup completes, a message should inform you that your SLIM-Suite installation has been successfully modified.
